It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Work Work Work!!

Day of rest...NOT!

Well...it's no surprise that I'm working today, Sunday, again.  Sundays are double shift days, and I covered someone last week, this is my week.

Seem's we had a girl quite at work yesterday.  No one knows why.  So, either I'm about to get much busier, or, maybe I can have the day hours.  That would be nice...  But I have a feeling that I'll end up with more hours, all nights.  I think it's because the girl that is there is a bit lackluster in her work ethic.

Why do people get jobs, then stand around just to collect a paycheck?  I understand the paycheck thing, as I like to collect mine at weeks end too, but I work for it!  I have to.  I get stuck cleaning up after the folks who stand around all week to collect the paycheck.  It all boils down to work ethic.  Arent' parents teaching work ethic anymore?

Anyway...on my off time I've been nitting...almost every spare momnet.  I find it soothing. LOL  And when I'm done I'll have my first ever full sized blanket for ME!  Then I think I'll make some new patterns and make blankets for the kids.  Taht's a lot of nitting.  LOL

Oh...AND...My mom has been going to an online university for the last 2 years, earned her associates degree, and is working on her batchlers...just a few months now.  Well, her motherboard went in her computer, and has to get a new motherboard.  In the interiem she's been using my computer.  this is why I don't have much in the relm of new stuff.  and...why I haven't yet fixed my CSS.  The top image is not shown in it's entierty.

I was totally impressed with this shot. I'm no photographer, but as I see the works of those who are, I am learning new things. Concidering new ideas. It's very provoking. This piece inspires me to use lighting and shadows. Totally love this!!

Thanks. IT's going well. It's an interesting patteren. I have to knit a bunch of squares, then knit them together. IT's gonna look like patchwork once it's compleat. :)

I will...but it'll be a while. I have such limitted time. But I do work on it every day. I'm basicly doing two squares a day...on a good day that is. I think I should be finished with my by the end of June. :)
