Over the River, and through the woods
We had been wanting to go to Maine to visit friends for quite a while now, so we did just that on Saturday. We combind visiting with looking at a property for sale up there. Beautiful country!!! Wide open spaces. NO NEIGHBORS!!! Absolutly fell in love with the place. Now, the only thing we need is the financing. Don't really know how that might pan out, but I'm keeping a positive attitude. No negitive thoughts allowed!!! LOL
Anyway. Our good friend had a log cabin in the middle of 100 acers. He runs his place on solar energy, and accasionally, his generator. He is totally off the grid. He has satalite TV, cable, and cell phones. He's my hero!!!! I wanna be living like that. Really...I do. It beats looking out my windows here, and looking streight into someone elses livingroom. IT totally freaks me out. I thought I'd egt used to it, but I guess if I haven't by now, I never will. I'm a country girl...need open country.
Anyhow...I did mannage to sit for a bit this morning and make some buttons, and then made brushes outta them. When I sat down to play with photoshop, I totally intended to make some form of tech image. I've never made one that was worth it's salt, so I wanted to try. (the whole dog with a bone attitude kicking in) I never expected, when I sat down to play, that I would have made buttons. I assure you, they were the furthest things on my mind. But I was in a groove...so I went with it. LOL
Anyway...now I have got to open APO. I haven't in days...and well...I need an Apo fix!!!!
Sounds gorgeous and serene, though.
