SO busy!

Journal Entry: Thu Apr 26, 2007, 10:44 AM
Sorry I've been so busy!

You may have noticed that I've been absent.  I've been so busy.  If it's not work related, kid related, or even mother related, I haven't given it any attention.  I've been on the go for a solid two weeks.  Just barley enough time to pop in, check notes, and messages here, and at TU [link] .  I feel withdrawls!  I feel like I'm missing something!  Must mean I'm addicted!  I admitt it!

Anyway, I have a little wile today, so I thought I'd post a new journal I've been sporaticly working on.

I've also been going to my mothers to work on dreamweaver.  It's intimedating.  To say the least.  WE were working on one of her old assignments for school.  This assignment was to build a web page, with working links, text, pictures, all in dreamweaver.  Seem simple?  I thought it sounded simple.  We even made sure that all the files needed for this page were in the root dorectory.  But do you think it was that simple?  Hell no!  There was the top picture that just wouldn't desplay.  So, I had the big idea that we would fix the issure in dreamweaver, as it was displaying correctly, copy the code, and paste over it.  Worked like a charm for that picture, but then the other 8 pics dissapeared.  I was so exasperated that I had to turn away from the computer!

Which leads me to my next new hobby.  The real consumtionest of my free time.....knitting!  I'd always wanted to learn how to knit.  So, when my cousin was down last week, she helped me get started. Two stitches.  Thats it!  How difficult could that be? But, I quickly developed bad habbits, and didn't have the yarn in the right position.  (I'm so new to knitting that I cannot even articulate with tech terms! )  Anyway, I was doing everything backwards.  (big surprise)  So, my mom came over and showed me how it's suposed to be done.  And now, I've been knitting like crazy!  Every spair moment has been spent knitting.  I really enjoy it.  It's soothing.  It's comforting.  And when I'm done I'll have the first full size blanket I ever made.  (I've been a crochetter for years! )

Well...I have less then an hour to get the laundry done, and shape up the house before the kids get home.  once they are home it gets real loud in here, and slim to non get's done!  LOL

Which came first? The chicken or the egg?
I was totally impressed with this shot. I'm no photographer, but as I see the works of those who are, I am learning new things. Concidering new ideas. It's very provoking. This piece inspires me to use lighting and shadows. Totally love this!!

I didn't know you had a sixteen yr old! I thought they were all younger. It's even more impressive now that you find time to kick ass at photoshop. :D

Well...thank you!!! Thanks to Illusio 5 I was able to sit and figure out what each section does. That was the hard part. I still have a lot to learn, but for right now, I have my very own css journal. :)

This is a very nice blend you've come up with here, complete with padding (or margins) - well done!

Thanks Anna!! I went back in and changed the color of the background. For some reason I thought I had the right color in there for a smooth pallet, but it was way off. Looks better now. Later in the week I'll probebly post some other ones. And as I learn more, maybe add stuff to it. IT's been quite fun. Thanks for lending my your CSS journal will I got my own. :)
