Rusty; Twice excceptional
Wow... When you don't use it, you can indeed loose it! I'm so RUSTY!
I've been so busy with 'life' that I haven't had time to play with Photoshop. and it's messing with my head. I used to do nothing but Photoshop. IT had gotten to the point that I couldn't even watch a TV program or commercial without thinking, "I bet I can do that with Photoshop." Weather I could or not was irrelevant, I just knew i could learn. Well...now that I've been working almost a year, I can hardly find the time to open the program, let alone play with a tutorial to learn something new. While I'm sitting on the sidelines working, keeping house, being mom to 4, and wife, I'm watching folks 'take flight' in their art! Souring high on their skills, and achieving what they are conceiving, I have to admit, I am in awe! Not only in how far they've come, but in how far they've whizzed right past me!
So, I will just have to 'take time' for me, to get re acquainted with Photoshop. Who knows, maybe I have more time then I think I do. After all, I'm finally updating my journal after 17 weeks of NOTHING!
Twice Exceptional RUSTY, my dog that is! I've a new dog. He's 6 months old now, a Chocolate Lab. He's exceptionally smart. He is smart enough to know that I'm so easily distracted by 4 kids and a husband, that he can easily get into the trash, pull out the turkey wrapper, bread bag, and jar of peanut butter and have a good 5 minutes of 'chew time' before I find him, and his twice exceptional accomplishment. So, as of Friday, I've got the upper hand over the battle of the trash. I have a bottle of Bitter Apple, and I'm not afraid to use it. Actually, I've become quite trigger happy, and have sprayed everything I can think of! Well...actually I was too trigger happy, as I accidentally targeted his toy dog. Ooops! Poor puppy.
I hate being rusty! But I sure love my Rusty!
