It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

What I'm looking for:
Everything! Wolves, foxes, fennec foxes, ferrets, servals, bobcats, tigers, other big cats, small cats, deers, dragons, gryphons, dogs, birds, hybrids, original species.. bring it!
I'm leaving the details to your imagination, but here are some things I really like:
-White base color with black and red markings<33 (mostly on canines)
-Cute and fluffy things! No need to go all big eyes and oversized heads, but animals with fur. Creepy and slimy things just aren't my thing.. Still don't be afraid to make something dark/evil
-Anything tribal
-Native american stuff
-Feathers!
-Tawny, golden, brown, white, red, blue, cyan, gray, black (well, not all combined)
-I like more natural base colors, but with smaller markings in unnatural colors like blue or red

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Callibrate your Wacom tutorialHad you  finally  made  the transition from intuos 3 to intuos 4?, or Are you rich to change into an intuos 5? Had you made the transition from a first generation cintiq  to the new ones?. More levels of pressure will mean  more quality to the paintings, am i right?. 
Did you thought that by default the pen will it be like using butter on bread?, you try it for the first time and you love all of it, you said i have sooooooo much control on my strokes im having a blast. Then only  to realize you only have total control of the brush but when you are moving it really slow?. But when you do quick strokes the pressure drops a lot of paint making you redraw tons of stuff?
Did you ever thought that painter its hard to handle with new tablet? Too much pressure? If it has more pressure why i cant control more easier the beggining of the stroke which is more crucial?.

Happy New Year.... and something odd.

I have a question, maybe some of you more experienced artests can answer.  

I did a google search for my name, and on page 3 I found a site that has my artwork on it.    Here;s the link, [link]

Does this type of thing happen alot?  This person has taken the PSD file of my Pearl, and made it avalable for download via their site, instead of a link to here.  And as I dug a bit deeper into the site, it appears that they have done this with other works of art by other people.  

After checking on the file I submitted, I neglected to post any stipulations for it's use.  I've changed that now.  I'd prefer a link to the deviation.  Live and learn huh?

Anyway....

We had a great Christmas.  My little chubber was so fun to watch. (he's 4 now and HATES to be called LITTLE in any way) He's delayed in speach due to an undiagnosed fluid in the ear problem, and didn't develop verbally like his peers, however, has undergone an augmentation, and tubes.  Now he's talking a ton more, but still struggles with big words, or two word combos, yet can indeed say a compleat sentance.  Anyway, I told you all that just to say that he calls Santa "Ho Ho".    Were not so sure he gets the whole Santa concept, but he knows that "Ho Ho" gave him that new train set.  And that he wants "Ho Ho" to come every night.    HIs excitment is refreshing, and energizing.

Another thing thats happening is my DH will be leaving by the end of the week for Orientation in Ohio.  He's a Trucker.  Orentation is 5 days, then he's assighned a truck, and rolling along.  HE'll be gone about 3-4 weeks his first run out.  IT's gonna be different.  Logically it's a wise plan, emotionally...well...I donno yet.  Guess we'll see.

Should be an interesting new year.
