How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

OK...I made these images in Photoshop. I didn't realize that I couldn't change text placement from right to left...or "padding" right to left. (Or can I?) Anyway...I'm getting closer.

I honestly think the best thing to do is to download a template made by someone else, so you can see visually exactly what is possible.

May I recommend one made by either ¢mynti or myself (This one or This one).

You'll see you can arrange the text exactly how you like, and the coding that's needed. You'll also need to use a certain amount of html in your text in the journal itself as you go (you may have already sussed that though).

If you use one by ¢mynti you'll find she actually gives you a breakdown of which part of the CSS refers to which part of the journal, which I found really invaluable. Look on her journal page and you'll find links to all the templates she has done for us to use without obligation.

I also have a print out of an Introduction to CSS - Crash Course, but unfortunately I don't have the name of the person who did it, nor the link, but if I find it I'll give it to you (it tells you what dA's software will do to your CSS!)

Anyway, if you put in a search on dA for CSS tutorials under non-art, you should find plenty to keep you going.

You'll also find there are more than one way of writing out the CSS, so try not to get confused, but decide on which way you'll do yours and stick to it to save future problems when you want to remember something! lol!
