Hi everyone, watcher and poppers.

I gave warning that I was going to be deleting by brushes.  I've decided that I will do something else entirely with them.  What prompted me to do this was the enormous amount of theft.  When people won't follow the rules set forth, it's nothing less then theft.

Unfortunately there is nothing I can do for the brush sets that have already been taken and re-uploaded elsewhere, but the new sets I have will be exclusive sets.  I'm planning a website, and over the next few weeks it should be up and running.  If your a die hard fan, and still want access to my brush sets, as well as the additional sets, I will post a link once the site is functional.

I'm still here on DA...just no longer functioning in a resource capacity.

I FINALLY subscribed to Layers Mag!!!

I've been wanting to subscribe to layers mag for a long time, and I finally did it this morning.  I'm stoked!  LOL

In other news, it's school vacation.  I thought I'd have some alone time to catch up with Photoshop, but, so far, I've barley been able to open it...LOL  Can we say, INTERRUPTIONS?  LOL

Anyway, I printed some of my fractals, and other artwork at the local drug store.  Actually, I used three local places to print the same thing, just to see how the machines differ.  The Kodak machines are far superior.  I didn't do anything too fancy, but I did print The Gift, Tranquility, Deciphering Dreams, and Mushroobin.  The only machine that printed an acceptable print was the Kodak.  I'm happy.

There is some AMAZING stuff out there.

I am ALWAYS amazed by craftsmen. (or woman)  I know, without a doubt, that I'm so interested in these kinds of craftsmanship solely because I cannot do it.  Not that I've ever tied either, mind you, but I know myself, and I have limitations on my patience.  Clearly, these works require a special hand, deep well of patience, and a pure love of what they are doing.

I decided to actually do a feature.  It's kinda selfish though, because I want to look at these for a while, so, by doing a feature, I can look at 'em for a week or more jsut by coming to DA.

HI  

Well, we made it through another year of the Topsfield Fair.  Fun was had by all.  We love the people, and especally the cattle.  We had the Oxen again this year, and as usual, they were a large attraction.

Only one incedent in the milking demonstrations this year, where a milker threw DH into a water bowel, hurting his hip for a few days.  So, I did milk one cow without him.  

We also had a new calf born on the 8th.  A little heifer.  I'll post pics if anyone is interested.  LOL  The mom was a first time milker so I had to be with DH to assist.  First time milkers have a tendency to 'dance' around a bit, and kick.  Their bags are filled with adema for the first week, and it's tender and sore.  But the last milking she did really well, and didn't try to kick.  That is one 1st calf heifer I will miss!

The Pig Farrowed in the pig barn.  I have some awesome shorts of that, and will enter the Topsfiel Fair Pic contest for next year with one of them.  Only trouble is picking out which one out of like 130ish!!  LOL  

My two older sons came with us this year and ma & pa were VERY proud of them.  They worked side by side with the adults, and pulled more then their weight.  We work from 5 am to 10 pm, and they didn't miss a beat!  

We also had calf brushing in the center of the ring.  My two older boys helped out with that as well.  My oldest handed out the cattle buddy ribbons, and really made a show out of that!  LOL  

All in all, it was a great year, and we are all looking forward to next year!
