You're a lot more patient than I am, I can never wait for Apophysis to render images, nor do I have the skill to create many good ones. Excellent work.
LOL...It's an illusion. I'm not patient. I simply render when I'm leaving for work, or going to bed at night, then I don't have to 'wait' so long if at all. Give it a shot, you won't be disappointed.
Thanks so much for the comment. Blue Love is one of my favorites, but it didn't get much notice. There's stiff competition out there in lieu of fractals.
Lately I've been looking for a chance to try a new form of digital art, so I think I will. It'll be unusual going from one or two-hour renders to 4+, but I think the results will be worth it with a little work.
I rather like Blue Love myself. As for competition, I'm used to my best work going unnoticed, so I'm okay with that. Somehow people usually like the projects that I dislike or wasn't even going to post. O_o
I can relate to that completely. Some pieces that I spend days on get nothing. and other things I spit out, and don't have my heart into get the loven... LOL Kinda like this one..[link] People seemed to love it. Me, not usually my thing. but then something like this... [link] gets next to nothing in a year. I totally love this one, but, not many others were interested. LOL Oh well.
Personally, I think both are really well done, but I understand where you're coming from. I'd imagine the alien probably took a long time to do while the Apo render was just a quick festive project.
Me too. I have a ton of blue stuff. It must be a favorite color of mine... However, I go through fazes of colors. But I definitely gravitate toward blues. Thanks!!!

Keep playing! I know I will.
But I don't plan on quitting anytime soon.
